The Sledge Saw is a combo weapon in Dead Rising 3 made by combining these items:

1. Cement Saw
2. Sledgehammer

When the sledge saw is thrown it will split the zombies in half, in what developers called the "banana split".

The combo weapon is described by the Official Xbox 360 magazine as:

"A cross between a sledgehammer and cement saw, the cleverly-named sledgesaw combines the brute force and blunt trauma with razor-sharp stopping power. The handle of the hammer also extends the weapon's reach, so you'll be able to keep the zombies at arm's length. For an instant takedown, you can also use the Sledgesaw as a projectile weapon, hurling it full force into an unfortunate undead's face."

Trivia

• The Sledge Saw is probably the most advertised weapon, combo or otherwise leading up to Dead Rising 3's release.
