The 2 x 4 is a Dead Rising weapon. The 2 x 4 (pronounced two-by-four) is a large wooden plank, normally used for construction purposes. It is very effective against zombies, with a one hit kill, but it can only hit one zombie at a time.

It is commonly found around the mall, especially at McHandy's Hardware in Al Fresca Plaza.

It is even more powerful when used in conjunction with the Engineering Book.

Attacks

• Main: Tap the Template:Xbutton button to swing the 2" x 4". This attack can only hit one target per swing.
• Thrown: Hold down the Template:Rtrigger trigger to go into aim mode and press the Template:Xbutton button to throw the 2"x 4".

Trivia

• The 2" x 4" is the same as the Lead Pipe, except for the sound it makes when hitting something.

The 2 x 4s (two-by-fours) are pieces of construction lumber used as a weapon found in Dead Rising 2: Case Zero and Dead Rising 2 Chuck lifts the 2 x 4 over his head, and slams it down. There is no secondary attack.

2x4's can be combined with a lawnmower to make a Porta Mower. 2x4's can also be found by breaking a bench and a pallet.

• Primary: Tap Template:Xbutton to perform a vertical swing with the board.
• Throw: Hold Template:Ltrigger and tap Template:Xbutton to throw.
